together forever – part 1

Getting older means getting settled too. Thus our civil marriage with family and friends took place on Saturday. After the ceremony we went to the wine tavern ('Heuriger') followed by an entertaining get-together at the basement party room at mother-in-law's 'mansion'.

Plankenstein castle in Lower Austria

On our way back from 'wedding business' we enjoyed the great spring weather in Lower Austria and did some sightseeing and cruising through the countryside. One of our breakpoints wast the ancient castle mentioned in the headline.

A celebration with the Styrians

For Bee's birthday we decided to do a 'come in and join'-happening at the 'Steirerfest' at Rathausplatz. I put on my lederhosen and the lady went for dirndl. Though it wasn't that mild spring afternoon – in other words it's been f* cold – we found a comfortable space in the 'Vulcano ham world'-tent. It's been one of those wonderful evenings where everything fitted together and we had fun and pleasure far into the night!
