skiing the circus – day 8 skiing season 2012/13

One more skiing day. Today we are in the manege of the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm/Leogang. The girl enjoyed it very much. Sunshine, broad slopes and excellent snow conditions made this day the best of our trip. We entered the circus at Leogang and left our marks till Saalbach. There are currently 55 lifts in the skicircus, including 15 (!) gondola lifts and it offers 200 kilometres of prepared piste. Late in the afternoon we left the mountains and headed forward to Vienna.

Hinterthal & Hochmaisalm – day 7 skiing season 2012/13

We did a gemuetlich tour on our last day at the Hochkoenig ski area. Good weather conditions and – as always – excellent soups made our day very pleasant. We had also time for watching ski on TV.

In the evening we made plans for holidays in May and said goodbye to our landlord.

32 km Koenigstour – day 6 skiing season 2012/13

The linked ski area offers the possibility to go 32 kilometres from Maria Alm to Muehlbach with a total difference in altitude of 6,700 metres. Today we did it and we found also time for the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup on TV at our 'soup break'. At dinner we saw Americas rising star M. Shiffrin.

From Natrun to Buerglalm – day 5 skiing season 2012/13

Hooray! Skiing again! We went to Maria Alm located in the state of Salzburg. I've never been in that area which is called the 'winter realm of the Hochkoenig'. A new dot on my individual skiing map. The first day we skied the Natrun – which was within 100 metres to reach – and later on switched to the linked ski area where we had soup at the Buerglalm. Hmmm, soup!

the University dances

Time for the black tie. We started into the ball season with the 'WU Ball' – the ball of the Vienna University of Economics and Business. As alumni we had to shake more than fourty hands. Awesome!
