On Saturday we did a nice trip to Burgenland. At the wineyard Hillinger we had a guided tour and afterwards a great wine tasting accompanied by local traditional food took place in the old wine-cellar. In the late afternoon we did a boating trip on lake Neusiedl. Cool!

Danube Island Festival – 30th edition

This year we attended the festival on Friday. We started at ‚Reichsbruecke’ and promenaded through the festival site having some drinks and snacks. We did a shortcut to the country island where we had delicious bratwurst and pancake. After the ‚Schlager Island’ we ended up at the main stage.

a party like a county fair

Clemens – the head of the ‚Wilde Kaiser’ – celebrated his 30th birthday as well as the positive completion of his academic studies. A huge festivity – aprox. 250 people – took place in his hometown. It started with the blessing of a wooden Saint Clement figurine and was followed by a delicious buffet and several ‚show acts’ to hurrah the celebrant. Late in the night the party ended at the separated bar area.

Baptism of the Nephew

Every little boy has to live a life agreeable to God. Therefore we baptised the nephew. And for all the presents. ;-) Aunts, uncles, relatives and the godfathers celebrated the baptism in a nice service. Afterwards a long dinner took place.
