it's snowing

The first snow of the season catched me in Styria. I spent the weekend at Leoben to give a lecture for the students union at the 'Montanuniversität' (University of Mining). Friday night was an onset of Winter in the whole of Austria especially in the mountainous regions (where Leoben is situated). When I woke up on Saturday morning the scenery has changed to snowy white.

Thought the time schedule was tight some spare time remained. I had a small introduction to the local pub scene as well as a nice Saturday night party at the 'Glückauf' combined with an outside barbecue in the snow – chillily.

Ride Club Evening

On Monday Carina invited for a get-together at the Ride Club. The occasion was her upcoming birthday. I spent unhurried hours on sandwiches, sparkling wine and chatting.
