Farewell Mr. T.

A farewell meeting took place today. Georg leaves Austria tomorrow for a southern hemisphere world trip whichsoever I would have joined so gladly if the circumstances were different.

We met at the MQ for having some Starobrno Georg brought from his last trip to Bratislava. Unless it was not that warm we stayed until the magnum bottle Heineken was drunk! Then we went to that American pub I alway forget the name for having a couple of pitchers and finally we finished the evenig at Subway sandwiches!

TTT – Three Times Thirty

We celebrated three 30th birthdays last weekend. Georg, Max & Wiesi invited for a big fête. Location was the basement of the aQuadrat - a pub in the 5th district.

They prepared a delicate buffet with exquisite rural products of our home region as well as home-made cakes and cookies. Even they paid for drinks until a base was exceeded.
We presented them with several gifts. Georg got a T-Shirt with his world tour dates, Wiesi received a poster of the world football players 2007 (seven times himself - one for each continent) as well as a prepaid movie ticket and for Max we managed a Rugby shirt featuring the All Blacks.

Alas the shirt didn't arrive in time from New Zealand so for the evening he got a T-Shirt featuring his childhood hero Bud Spencer ;-)

We had a lot of fun (as the reader can see) and when they closed the pub past 3 am I decided to go home and not to join the leftover folks on their 'crusade' through the early morning Vienna nightlife.

The 2nd KW event

One week after the Café Ministerium KW invited for a barbecue at his home place in Rudmanns!

It was the second birthday party without him grewing older (the 3rd of September is his day) :-)

I arrived past 2 pm and they had that much food so that I completely overindulged and had to have some drinks to feel better ;-) We had luck with the weather although it looked like rain later in the evening. I left the friends past 10 pm and walked home!
