A Party Location

Yesterday I had the experience of a 'pub quiz' at the university. Interesting. Afterwards I decided to attend the BWZ Party at the Volksgarten. I met with friends around 10 pm at the entrance. Having been there once years ago this time I saw more of the location that made me really astonishing. For my way home I decided to walk along the 'Ring' watching all the construction zones to raise the Viennese Fan Zone for the forthcoming EURO 2008.

BN BBQ

It's scratching the 30° C. A good premise to attend the Buddy Network barbecue at the Danube island. Having some 'grillables' and a couple of beers made me a slack evening.

Aulafest

Like every year in May the 'OeH WU Aulafest' took place on Wednesday. First we watched at Hannes' place the final of the UEFA Champions Leage and due to the extra time and penalty shoot-out we had to take one of the last underground lines to the university. It seemed like many people had waited for the end of the game. There was a swirling crowd at the advance sale entrance.

The party lasted at least the whole night and was quite ok.

Relocation & Open Air

I had to change my residence on April 30th. Luckily I found some friends that helped me with the furniture in the late afternoon. Around 7 pm the relocation was completed and they convinced me to go to the 'Prater' for the 'Open Air against racism' watching 'Shantel & his Bucovina Club Orkestar'. The concert was quite ok but the most fun of the evening was the late night 'Autodrom' race at the amusement area of the 'Prater'. Arount 1 am I returned to my new flat and I felt really smashed. As summary of the relocation I always tell the folks: I have no hot water, there's power in at least one power outlet and my friends wrecked the elevator but apart from that the new falt is ok!
