The Josef Gebhard Birthday Happening

Seppi – a friend from the dormitory times – invited us to his 30th birthday celebration. Meeting point was the 'Siebensternbraeu' at the 'Spittelberg'. When entering the inn I saw that they announced 'India Pale Ale' so the favourite drink for the evening was chosen as well as a good hot liver dumplings soup prepared my stomach for the night!

For gift reasons we put some money together in a pot and sent Reini to buy some Simpsons merchandising goodies that no household should miss (talking beer opener, eggcup, etc.) . An educational manga (recommended at the age of 16) topped off the presentation.

When they closed the pub around midnight we forwarded to the 'Donau' – I've never been there before. It seemed to be a fasionable hip and hot location in town that looked quite interesting with light projections on the walls all around the room. Seedy catering where necessity to buy an extra bottle of non-alcoholic soft drink alongside with the vodka blured the impression.

Stupidly not finding a hot dog booth at Mariahilferstasse I took a taxi home at half past 2.

Community Night

It was time to do the Community Night at Kaiko Club once again! So I 'recruited' Reini and Hannes and we met at 9.30 pm. The location was rather crowded and as it was Robert's birthday he spent some bottles of Vodka. The fun continued until the early morning and brought me a not expected headache the following day. ;-)
