Africa Festival

After beeing on a barbecue on Saturday evening the weather on Sunday was to beautiful to stay at home. Hence I went to the africa festival on the danube island. It's been perfect to drink a cold beer in the bright sunshine (that we missed the last week).

A Tank

For his 30th birthday party Christoph invited for an evening BBQ. The people were in a good mood and Georg did his job as grill master very well. After the meal we handed over the gift. We bought for Christoph a remote-controlled tank. We had to say cheers with a couple of Jaegermeistes and later that night we attended the fair of the volunteer fire brigade.

Icebar & 'Stelze'

Each big football tournament Wiesi, Georg and I bet on the results. Wiesi won the EURO 2008. As a result the one who was last (this time Georg) had to pay a knuckle of pork. Last friday the time had come. We met at the 'Salmbraeu' and ate a delicate 'Stelze'.

Afterwards we went to the 'Indigo' bar because Peli's girlfriend Roberta had invited for her 30th birthday celebration. Associated to that bar is the 'Icebar' and for a special entrance fee we afforded a trip in the iciness. That bar is constantly cooled down to -5 degrees Celsius. Its equipment is completely made of ice even the glasses for the drinks. After half an hour we left because we were cold but we jumped in again several times that night to chill.

A Wedding

Even nowadays people marry. So it was a pleasure to attend the wedding of Bianca and Andreas at Stift Altenburg. The weather was beautiful and so it's been an entertaining afternoon. (Attention: It's not the bridal pair in the picture!)
