Banff

Banff is a resort town and one of Canada's most popular tourist destinations, known for its mountainous surroundings and hot springs. There is also one of Canada's grand railway hotels – the Banff Springs Hotel which was built during the 19th century. It's been constructed in Scottish Baronial style. From Tunnel Mountain we had a great view of the luxury hotel as well as of the Bow River and the nearby Hoodoos. We walked through Cascade Garden in the town centre and then left Banff direction Lake Minnewanka.
