Hiking at Raxalpe

After two busy months we wanted to do something sportive. As we are proud holders of the NÖ-Card we decided to hike the Raxalpe. The Rax is a mountain range at the border of Lower Austria and Styria. We took the aerial tramway to the high plateau at about 1,500 m and hiked around more than five hours with a top altitude of 1,783 m. Spectacular views (i.e. Höllental - hell valley) and nice mountain huts made it a perfect sunday.
