Ski Kranjska Gora

A new country I skied! Just after crossing the Austrian border where the Julian Alps start the well known Slovenian ski resort of Kranjska Gora is located. On the mountain Vitranc there are 15 km of slopes.

The weather conditions were ok and the trails on the Podkoren side of the mountain were really good prepared. The Kranjska Gora side was slightly icy. At noon we tried a small ski hut. The glogg was good but the sandwich was somewhat 'bizzare'. At 3 pm the ski lifts stopped and we returned to our 'homemade' motorhome. Having dinner in the village and checking the nightlife finished a good skiing day.
