Visit at Baden

Early in July me and my sister Rita visited our mother in Baden. Mum did there a treatment at a health resort. She was at Baden for 3 weeks. One weekend we went down there by car and first Mum showed us her room and the healt resort. As that wasn't much action ;-) we decided to walk into the city center of Baden. At a small pastry shop we had a coffee and after this we placed ourselves in the spa gardens and we listened to an orchestra that played operetta musik - live!

After a short trip up the Vienna Woods and down to Baden again by crossing the manor-house we returned to the health resort. The 'severe regime' of the health resort wanted their guests not to miss any meal. So we had to wait for Mum when she was for supper.

Afterwards Mum invited us to a Heuriger. We tasted the new wine and had some excellent plain fare. When the 'closing hour' of the health resort was coming we decided to leave Mum and went back to Vienna.

I hope Mum was happy about our short visit - she looked as if she were!
